1. Provider and acceptance

These Terms govern the Darling Skill website and package provided by Tarek Wasfy, Knappenberg 7, 50169 Kerpen, Germany. By using the package or website, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. Service

Darling Skill provides a curated package of components intended to help run certain compatible macOS command-line software on Linux. Compatibility is not guaranteed and varies by software, Linux distribution, architecture and environment.

3. Open-source and third-party software

The package includes third-party and open-source software, including Darling components. Those components remain subject to their respective copyright notices and licenses. Where the package includes GPL-licensed software, the applicable GPL terms and accompanying source-information materials govern your rights to copy, modify and redistribute those components.

4. Permitted use

You may use the website and package for lawful purposes and subject to all applicable third-party licenses. You are responsible for ensuring that software you run through Darling is lawfully obtained and used.

5. Prohibited use

You must not use the service in violation of applicable law, infringe third-party rights, misrepresent the origin of the included projects, remove required license notices, or interfere with the website or distribution infrastructure.

6. No affiliation

Darling Skill is not an Apple product and is not sponsored, endorsed or affiliated with Apple Inc. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only where necessary for descriptive purposes.

7. Availability and changes

The package, included components, documentation and website may be changed, updated or discontinued. Features may fail or behave differently across systems.

8. Warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without voluntary guarantees that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with a particular application, or suitable for a particular purpose. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including mandatory liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health where applicable. In other cases, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Users should maintain appropriate backups before running compatibility software.

10. Intellectual property

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Darling or other third-party software. Your rights in those components arise from their respective licenses. Original website content and package-specific materials remain protected to the extent applicable.
